Acceptance of our service is deemed acceptance of our terms & conditions and an agreement to pay on time.
Un-castrated dogs (unless under 9 months old) or bitches in season will not be accepted for walking, unless previously agreed with the owner.
All dogs will remain on the lead unless a prior agreement has been reached with the owner.
We reserve the right to use our personal judgement to cut short a walk which would be in the best interests of the safety of your dog. We reserve the right to stop walking an animal if it shows aggression to people or dogs.
We reserve the right to impose supplementary charges and/or terminate the agreement at any time.
Pampered Pooches cannot be held responsible for injury caused by the dog itself or by being attacked by another dog or human.
We cannot be held liable for any theft or damage caused to your property or injury/illness/ loss to your pet unless we can be shown to be negligent. If you have a cat flap accessible to your pets we cannot be held liable for loss and recommend in the owners absence pets stay indoors for the duration of absence.
In the unfortunate event that we consider your dog should be seen by a vet, we will retain all receipts and communication from the veterinary practice to pass on to the owner.
In your home we will take all steps to ensure it is safe and secure, but we cannot be held responsible for burglaries or accidents/damage caused by your pets.
The owner is responsible and will ensure that their dog is up to date with their vaccinations, flea and tic treatments and de-wormer treatments.
The owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by their dog whilst in our care. The owner is financially responsible for any loss or damage to property whilst your dog is in our care. Pampered Pooches is not held accountable for vet fees or third party claims whilst your dog is in our care.
The owner is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems which might make your dog not suitable for walking, home boarding or grooming including behavioural or health problems, antisocial behaviour including aggression, incontinence or lack of house training, excessive loud barking or whining. Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might render owner's dog unsuitable for walking, grooming or home boarding will be deemed a material omission amounting to a fundamental breach of our agreement.
We make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted third party should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog's health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. The owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by Pampered Pooches.
There is always an hour open window of time allowed to pick up and drop off your pet i.e. 10am pick up could mean a 9am or 11am pick up.
Extreme weather conditions may mean cancellation of service at short notice, we will try to give 24 hour notice if we cannot walk your dog for any other reason, if not we will refund the fee for that walk.
We do not walk dogs during periods of extreme heat and/or thunderstorms but will still let your dog out to relieve them and spend time indoors with your pet instead.
We cannot walk dogs that are ill or infected, even one on one due to cross infection.
We will not feed deep chested dogs in the hour prior to or after a walk due to risk of gastric torsion, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform us if their pet is at risk of this and it is advised to research if your dog’s breed is at risk.
Pampered Pooches states that owners and animals use the grooming facilities do so at their own risk. Although we take every precaution to prevent injury, due to the nature of the activity, if any injury does occur Pampered Pooches cannot accept responsibility. Pampered Pooches cannot accept responsibility for any injury suffered by owners or animals whilst in our care. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongings whilst on our grounds.
Any personal data is kept confidential and is only used for information purposes and to contact our customers. Any data held will only be kept on file for as long as legal requirements permit or until you request us to remove it. Any personal or confidential information will be disposed of in a safe and secure manner and will not be shared with any third parties unless we have any safety or welfare concerns. We may take photographs/videos of your animal and upload them to our social media accounts or website. If you would prefer us not to take or use images of your animal for this purpose please notify us.
Pampered Pooches have full public liability (care custody and control) insurance.
Although every care is taken to prevent cross infection of Kennel cough, the incubation period means it is sometimes possible that your dog is at risk to pick it up. We cannot be held liable for this and strongly advise you discuss vaccinations with your vet.
We will not walk dogs that wear choke chains or electric collars nor can we administer negative punishment such as smacking or jerking collars or any method that causes the dog pain or distress.
Openings Times & Holidays
Pampered Pooches opening times are Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pmplease contact us within this time frame to make any changes to days, times etc. Saturdays & Sundays are only covered if agreed well in advance.
Pampered Pooches will allow staff 4 weeks annual leave, we will do our best to arrange cover in these times. If this is not possible it is the owners’ responsibility to do so. We aim to give four weeks’ notice of holidays booked, sometimes this is not possible.
All fees must be settled at the end of the treatment. Prices are subject to change at any time. Prices quoted are from price, these are dependent on coat condition & temperament of dog. Matted dogs will be charged an additional £15 on top of price quoted, if your dog takes a lot longer than expected due to behaviour this will be charged at £10 per half an hour extra time taken, an additional £20 will be applied if your dog is found to have fleas. Please note 48hrs is required or full payment of the service will be due and a 50% deposit to make future bookings will be required.
This is paid either weekly or monthly as agreed by Pampered Pooches via direct debit/internet banking transfers or in cash in advance.Prices are subject to change at any time. Home Boarding/Pop-Ins/Pet Sitting
We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit upfront and the remaining 50% cleared prior or on the last day of service. If for any reason you are unable to pay outstanding balances we ask for you to inform us so a payment plan can be arranged. If payment is late we reserve the right to terminate services at any time. Prices are subject to change at any time.
Please note Bank Holidays, weekends and out of hours are charged as extra.
